Wait if it is this past week how is it current... oh well.... Open your mind its time to learn...
LOCAL:
One of the Highland Scots varsity basketball players was injured in Friday's game against the rebels. This was thought to be a crippling blow to the team because the player was none other than Grant Fulton the 6'5" wonder who not only there just for size the kid has got a crazy good free throw percentage and an excellent fg% he scored 26 points two saturdays ago was ofcourse as i said he was injured in Friday's game only scoring 2 points and was out with a dislocated and chipped knuckle. This kid how ever wasn't going to sit out like other players on other teams he came back with the injury and scored nine points on Saturday if only the rest of the team had such a 'go getter' attitude we wouldn't be 0 and 3.
STATE
On Last Friday The Indiana Supreme court have denied a request to halt proceedings in a court dispute over the Terre Haute mayoral elections. Republican mayor-elect Duke Bennett's attorney had asked the court to intervene after Vigo Superior Court Judge David Bolk ordered a recount and scheduled a hearing on a challenge to the legitimacy of Bennett's candidacy. Baking Soda to the rescue??? For the past few month PopularScience has been looking at different things to stop global warming and such and recently they have found that by using the Carbon dioxide emmissions from smoke stacks can make baking soda and the whole system is powered by excess heat off of a factory. If this global warming thing is real... at least we will have baking soda, sounds good to me. http://www.cnn.com/2007/TECH/science/11/29/climate.change.soda/index.html
IRAQ/WAR/AFGANISTAN/TERROR
Turkey attacks Kurd rebels in Iraq on saturday. Fifty to Sixty kurdish rebels and they said that they caused "significant losses" the US had no reports of a Turkish incursion. In my opinion its about time that someone besides the US does some thing in Iraq. http://www.cnn.com/2007/WORLD/europe/12/01/turkey.kurds.ap/index.html
Chavez is a man of many claims he's like a little kid holding his fathers antique very valualbe snowglobe over a ledge and threatening to drop it if he makes him go to bed. Chavez has accused Colombia of working with the US and also said that if anyone tried to oust him he would with hold the oil from the rest of the world but honestly would it be so bad if he didn't give us anymore oil because it would make us more eager to look for alternative fuels.... wait a minute we already have like six different alternative fuels maybe we'll just use them now. http://www.cnn.com/2007/WORLD/americas/12/01/venezuela.chavez/index.html
BUSINESS

As of November 30th spending and income are down and that is not helping us build a better economy. But it is really hard to build a good economy when all our money is going to big oil outside the US every generation have their huge problems and I believe that ours is getting rid of the oil need and also helping out the starving children in Africa. But its some thing that everyone needs to do and the only thing Americans agree on is the fact that there is nothing that we should agree on.http://money.cnn.com/2007/11/30/news/economy/income_spending/index.htm?postversion=2007113010
